Modder 'MadMax' has released a new mod for Helldivers 2 that unlocks its hidden vehicles, meaning you can use LAV, RECON and MECH.

Now for those only interested in the MECH, there is a separate mod. This second mod unlocks the hidden two MECH variations with autocannons and rockets.

You can download these mods here and here . Note that since these mods unlock hidden content, they may get you banned. So use them at your own risk. From what we know, Arrowhead Game Studios will soon release an update that will allow you to use the mechas officially.

Helldivers 2 is one of the most successful games of Q1 2024. The game has "Very Positive" reviews on Steam and has managed to sell well on the PC platform.

Arrowhead Studios has claimed that 60% of the game's sales come from the PC. Overall, the game has sold nearly 3 million copies so far.


Many use this example as the reason why Sony will change its PC strategy. Honestly, though, I don't expect Sony's first-party single-player games to come out on PC at the same time as their PS5 versions. Helldivers 2 is a GaaS (Games as a Service) title, which made perfect sense to release it simultaneously on PC and PS5.

For those wondering, Arrowhead Game Studios has no plans to implement support for DLSS or FSR. At least for now, the developers are focusing on delivering new content to their players.
