About storage
Harddiscs come in a variety of different types, sizes and form-factors. At Tweak Reviews we have tried to gather almost all data storage under the category harddisc. What that means for you, as a user, is that you will find harddiscs, solid state drives and others in the category pane called harddisc.

Many HDDs come in different speeds, such as 5400rpm, 7200rpm and 10.000rpm, there are different interfaces such as SATA and NVMe, different form factors such as 3.5”, 2.5” or even m.2 standard.
The rapid development of HDDs and storage media was almost at a standstill for many years with classic HDDs, containing spinning discs, dominating the realm of storage. Lateron these have been challenged and overtaken by SSDs in different formfactors.
What this means is, that it is not as easy to pick a harddrive today, as it used to be, or as one might wish for. Should you go with HDD or SSD, should you use some form of acceleration, do you want it mounted in the case or directly on the motherboard, which speed and capacity suits your needs.
For that reason we, at Tweak Reviews, have implemented a series of filters, which hopefully can help you down the road of choosing the best harddrive for your specific needs.
If you want to view all the storage media we have tested over the years, you should not pick a filter and thus form a great overview. Do you, however, wish to see something specific, you could choose Kingston under brands.

In the brands dropdown, choose and click on Western Digital. The other filters work much in the same way. Should you only wish to see Seagate HDDs that score a 4 or above, just go ahead and select these values. You can even apply price filters, allowing you to only be shown HDDs with a price below $79.
Should you find that there are no results at all, you can return and adjust your requirements until results start popping up in the search.

If you are ever feeling insecure about what different things mean on our website, you can follow the little how-to buttons. That will lead you to our dedicated area, where we try to explain as much as possible about storage media - ie. different kinds of data storage, speeds and even form factors and their benefits.

In our hdd review section you will be able to find all the tests of HDDs, that we have performed through the years. Remember, we always review products based on our own subjective findings and experiences with the product. That is also why we guarantee untainted stories of how a product performs.

The news button is meant for when you have an interest in reading the latest news about all kinds of different storage devices. It might be very relevant, if you want to form an overview of new products coming soon, or just recent trends and developments
