Western Digital Black SN750 NVMe SSD introduced


There are four new SSDs on the way from Western Digital, ranging from 250GB to 2TB.

Western Digital have introduced their new Western Digital Black SN750 NVMe SSD, pricing them at $80 for 250GB, $130 for 500GB, $250 for 1TB, and finally $300 for 2TB.

They offer a guarantee that lasts half a decade, and an endurance of 600TBW for the 1TB model, and 1200TBW for the 2TB version.

The new Solid State Drives can handle sequential reading speeds up to 3170 MB/s on the 500GB and 1TB versions. The 250GB version can handle 3100 MB/s, while the 2TB version goes up to 3400 MB/s.

Sequential writing speeds are up to 3000 MB/s for 1TB, 2900 MB/s for 2TB, 2600 MB/s for 500GB, and 1600 MB/S for 250GB. 4K random-access numbers peak at 505,000 IOPS.

The heatsink version will be available worldwide sometime this spring.
