BeQuiet ready with new cabinets at Computex

The Light Base series contains two cabinets, the primary difference being the size. The Light Base series includes Light Base 900 and Light Base 600, and it is, as I said, the size that separates them. So there is more space in the large Light Base 900, which naturally means more options for cooling such as radiators etc.

The design is a step away from the very muted design that BeQuiet is usually known for. Here there is an opportunity to "exhibit" its components quite a bit more, which is also nicely in line with the fact that BeQuiet has turned down the amount of bling on their other products such as cooling etc.

Another thing that BeQuiet is known for is the high degree of flexibility in their high end cabinets. Last year at Computex, it was their Dark Base Pro 901 that was in focus, with the possibility of great flexibility. This was expressed in, among other things, the possibility to rotate the internal design with an "inverted" layout.

This is also possible with the new Light Base series, but the solution is MUCH easier. Where in previous cabinets from BeQuiet you had to work a lot with the internal components and move and rotate internal elements, the Light Base series is made so that it can all be done without the need for tools.

The cabinets are designed so that they can be turned and look good on all heads. To rotate things, simply move the feet, which can be moved without the need for tools.

Both Light Base 900 and 600 are expected to hit the market around September/October and both come in either white or black.

Light Base 900

Light Base 900 is the first PC case from be quiet! with a "fish tank" or "showcase" design. With its fully windowed front and side panels, it provides a seamless transition and an impressive view of the components inside the case.

The Light Base concept has ARGB components and water cooling in mind and offers easy inversion or even a table layout within seconds.
