Corsair launches AIR 5400 triple-chamber case

With dual air channels in the main chamber, a wraparound glass exterior with swinging doors, pre-installed reverse-rotor RGB fans, and an open CPU exhaust chamber, the AIR 5400 delivers exceptional thermal performance and technological innovation.

Just as CORSAIR brought dual-chamber cases to the mainstream with the original AIR 540 in 2013, the company is now poised to once again transform the PC market with a solution that combines functionality and aesthetics at a new level.

Unique Triple-Chamber Design

Winner of multiple “Best of Computex” awards when the prototype was unveiled in May 2025, the AIR 5400 sets new standards for both design and cooling performance in the ATX mid-tower class.
The three-part layout introduces a third chamber dedicated to a 360mm all-in-one (AIO) CPU water cooler (sold separately).

Most single- and dual-chamber cases require mounting the AIO at the top, where the CPU receives air that has already been heated by the GPU — reducing efficiency.

The AIR 5400 solves this by placing the CPU cooling at the front of the case, where fresh air is drawn in through the radiator and immediately discharged via a specially designed air outlet that also keeps the chambers separate.

This design allows the CPU to be cooled independently of the GPU, providing significantly better temperatures than traditional top-mounted solutions.

Dual Air Duct for Continuous Cooling

The AIR 5400 has air channels at the top and bottom of the main chamber.

The bottom channel is functional and directs cold air from the three pre-installed reverse-rotor fans directly towards the GPU above.

This counteracts the vortex effect and ensures more efficient air distribution.

The top channel serves as visual balance, but also supports the installation of up to 30mm “max” fans for maximum flexibility in cooling configuration.

With 430mm of GPU clearance, even the largest graphics cards have ample space and constant fresh air. The GPU is housed in its own insulated chamber, providing impressive thermal performance.

Two Models – Two Cooling Systems

The AIR 5400 is available in two versions:

• The ARGB version with three included RS120-R ARGB fans
• iCUE Link version with three LX120-R iCUE LINK RGB reverse-rotor fans

Both variants offer powerful and quiet cooling as well as free RGB lighting without obstacles.
The iCUE LINK version includes an iCUE LINK System Hub, which enables individual control and monitoring of up to 24 iCUE LINK units, all connected via a single cable.

The AIR 5400 introduces wraparound glass panels that open on hidden hinges for a clean look and easy access.

This provides a panoramic look at your setup and makes replacing hardware easier than ever.

Cable management Completed

The spacious third chamber behind the motherboard provides plenty of space for the power supply, one 3.5" HDD and two 2.5" SSDs, as well as all cables.

The AIR 5400 features CORSAIR's innovative RapidRoute 2.0 pegboard motherboard tray, which makes cable management easy with modular cable holders.

These can be removed, extended, rotated and placed exactly where you want for optimal and customized cable routing.

The cases support the latest reverse-connector motherboards from ASUS, MSI and GIGABYTE, and nylon brushes between the chambers allow cables to be routed elegantly and precisely — without holes or visible openings.

Fast I/O and User-Friendly Features

The modern top I/O panel includes:

Two Colors – Two Options

The AIR 5400 is available in black or white and comes with either RS120-R PWM ARGB or iCUE LINK LX120-R fans.

In both versions, the fans are pre-installed at the bottom to ensure optimal GPU cooling.

The iCUE LINK version includes a System Hub, which allows expansion with multiple iCUE LINK units.
