Amazon announces new gaming series: Secret Level

If you are a gaming fan and ready for a shot of nostalgia or just want to see your favorite gaming universes in a different format, then there is something to look forward to when the Secret Level series lands on Prime Video later this year.

Secret Level is an anthology series coming to Amazon Prime Video, bringing several games to animated form to tell new short stories based on those games. The series was finally revealed with a teaser trailer during Gamescom 2024's Opening Night Live showcase.


It comes from Blur Studio, the creators of Love, Death, and Robots, another well-received animated anthology series. Secret Level aims to bring that same spirit to video game stories and will be released on December 10th.

Several games were teased in the premiere trailer, which you can watch above. Secret Level will have 15 episodes and include the following games and series:

  • God of War (PlayStation Studios)
  • Sifu
  • Warhammer 40K
  • Unreal Tournament
  • New World: Aeternum
  • Dungeons & Dragons
  • The Outer Worlds 2
  • Pac-Man
  • Honor of Kings
  • Armored Core
  • Mega Man
  • Exodus
  • Spelunky
  • Crossfire
  • Concord
