Steam sets a new impressive record

Steam just set a new record for concurrent players. Yesterday, Valve's service passed 38 million concurrent players. More precisely, it hit 38,367,277 concurrent players.

The most played game right now is Counter-Strike 2 , followed by PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and DOTA 2 . Black Myth: Wukong is still doing well. Although it has dropped two places, it is still the fourth most played PC game on Steam. And let's not forget that it's not a multiplayer game. It's really impressive.

In fifth place we find Banana . Banana is a free game where you click on a banana to get even more bananas. Sounds like a pretty simple game, right? Still, the most recent reviews are mostly positive, and so have many players.

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is in sixth place, followed by Apex Legends , Satisfactory and GTA 5 . Yes, GTA V is still in the Top 10 most played games. This is for those who still doubt that Rockstar will release GTA 6 on PC.

Valve's Deadlock is in eleventh place. Deadlock has not yet been officially revealed. And yet it had over 150,000 players within the last 24 hours. So it is almost certain that the game will achieve impressive numbers when it is released.

Another game that will catch your attention is Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 . Space Marine 2 has managed to surpass games like Call of Duty , Elden Ring and Team Fortress 2 .

Finally, Helldivers 2 is not in the Top 20. The game has instead dropped to 26th place. Similarly, Elden Ring is in 21st place and Team Fortress 2 is in 24th place.

It will be interesting to see when Steam passes 39 million concurrent players or when it hits 40 million players.
