According to the description, Assassin's Creed Shadows will be released on November 15, 2024. Yes, as previously rumored, this new AC game will be released this year.

In January 2024, BunnyTheVillain, a Ubisoft Partner and Content Creator, claimed that the game would be released in November 2024. And as we can see, the leaker was right. The leak also claimed that the first gameplay trailer will be shown in June.


Ubisoft plans to officially reveal Assassin's Creed Shadows on May 15. The French company will first share a cinematic trailer. After that, we can expect the first gameplay trailer during their June showcase event.

From what we know, Assassin's Creed Project Red will bring the series to Feudal Japan. According to information, the game will be powered by AnvilNext, and not by the Snowdrop Engine. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if Ubisoft will implement any Ray Tracing effects. We're also curious to see if there will be day-1 support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.0.

AC Shadows leak

Before we wrap up, the first details for its season pass have also been leaked. The season pass will cost $40 and will give you access to a questline called “Origami Killer”. Naturally, it will also include all future DLCs and expansions.

It is expected that Ubisoft will reveal more details about it on May 15.
