Not long ago we got a new gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and now the dates for the Open Beta test have also arrived.

If the latest gameplay trailer piqued your curiosity about the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, then there is some more good news. The dates for the Open Beta test have just been announced.

The Open Beta test of the upcoming game in the series will run over two "weekends" in October. The first weekend is reserved for PlayStation players. People who pre-ordered the game will be able to access it from October 6th until October 10th. Everyone else on PlayStation can hop on and join in from October 8th to 10th.

In the second round, players on PlayStation, Xbox, Battle.net and Steam can participate. Just like in the first instance, people who have pre-ordered the game have access from October 12th until the 16th. Everyone else can join from the 14th.

Before the Open Beta weekends, there will also be a Call of Duty Next event on October 5, where more information about the game will be released.
