As the game's description reads:
"In the distant future, the land is made of LEGO bricks and incredible dinosaur-like machines roam the Earth. Aloy, the game's protagonist, is found in a cave as a baby and raised by an experienced hunter called Rost, who teaches her the ways of nature .One day, Aloy embarks on a journey to discover her true destiny.Guided by a thousand-year-old hologram of a scientist called Elisabet, Aloy must confront Helis, the leader of a group of sun worshipers who bow to an ancient evil shrouded in mystery. There's much more to come for Aloy and her friends as their adventure sends them over the highest mountains and deepest cauldrons - all beautifully recreated in LEGO elements."
LEGO Horizon Adventures will support both couch and online co-op. According to the developers, the game is designed for two-person action without the need for split-screen, allowing family and friends to connect through cooperative play.
James Windeler, narrative director at Guerrilla Games, has revealed that LEGO Horizon Adventures will use Unreal Engine 5. Also, the game will have some Ray Tracing effects. However, we do not have further details about them yet. However, Windeler claims that the game will share some visual similarities with Builder's Journey.
LEGO Builder's Journey had great graphics on PC, with Ray Tracing effects like Ambient Occlusion, Global Illumination, Reflections and Shadows. When it came out, it was one of the best RT games. So I'm curious to see if Horizon Adventures will have the same Ray Tracing effects on PC. And what about Nanites? A LEGO game feels like a perfect match for UE5's Nanite.
LEGO Horizon Adventures will retell the story of Horizon: Zero Dawn in LEGO style. The game will use an elevated fixed camera perspective. So don't expect a third-person camera like what we saw in Guerrilla's game.
It's also worth noting that it will support both couch and online co-op. According to the developers, the game is designed for two-person action without the need for split-screen, allowing family and friends to connect through cooperative play.
