To go into more detail, this video focuses on the Witch class. In the video we see some of her skills and combat capabilities.
Path of Exile 2 will have a greatly improved engine for graphics and physics. And as I already said, it looks better than Diablo 4. Also, the game will have 19 new ascendancy classes. These characters are a new set of Exiles that fall under the same class archetypes as those in the original game.
It's also worth noting that Path of Exile 2 will no longer be an expansion of Path of Exile 1. Instead, Path of Exile 2 will be a new standalone game with separate game balance, systems, and future expansions. However, your purchases will still be split between both games.
PoE 2 will offer two control methods on PC. Players can use a traditional point-and-click system or WADS controls. And to be honest, I'm pretty interested to see what the WADS controls will be like.
Finally, Grinding Gear Games plans to release Path of Exile 2 in late 2024. The game will also support cross-play and cross-progression between consoles and PC.
