Path of Exile 2 will have a significantly improved graphics and physics engine. And as I already mentioned, it looks better than Diablo 4. Also, the game will have 19 new ascendancy classes. These characters are a new set of Exiles that fall under the same class archetypes as those in the original game.
It's also worth noting that Path of Exile 2 will no longer be an expansion of Path of Exile 1. Instead, Path of Exile 2 will be a new standalone game with separate game balance, systems, and future expansions. However, your purchases will still be split between both games.
PoE 2 will offer two control methods on PC. Players can use a traditional point-and-click system or WADS control.
Finally, the game will support cross-play and cross-progression between consoles and PC. This means you will be able to play with your friends regardless of the platform they play on.
