In the 8-minute long gameplay video, we see three boss fights and some small skirmishes. We also get glimpses of various weapons, including dual blades, a one-handed sword, a greatsword, a cannon, and a flamethrower.
From what we know so far, Phantom Blade Zero will not be a new Souls-like game. Instead, players will have access to different combinations that they can use. They will also be able to make their enemies stagger, just like in Sekiro . In a way, the game will be a mix of Devil May Cry and Sekiro . So if you're not a fan of the Dark Souls games, you'll probably like this title.
For those wondering, Phantom Blade Zero will also be coming to PC. S-Game confirmed this back in February 2024. More precisely, the game will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Phantom Blade Zero will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. However, we don't know if it will support Lumen or Nanite. We also don't know if there will be support for NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR or Intel XeSS.
Finally, there is no official release date for the game yet. A good guess is that Phantom Blade Zero is aiming for a fall 2026 release. So we'll have to find some patience.
