Rockstar Games has just released a brand new update for Red Dead Redemption 2, a game that has now been available for almost 6 years. It seems that the company will not stop supporting the title, despite all these years.

Although the new update does not enrich the game with new content, it is instead a small update that improves the overall gaming experience by fixing bugs in both the game itself and the multiplayer part, Red Dead Online.

At the same time, the update makes the game better supported on PC by adding support for HDR10+ technology for gaming. This is a new version of the technology, but the resolution has already been fixed for those who play at 3200 x 2400.

To give you some context, last February we learned that Red Dead Redemption 2 sold 61 million copies worldwide, while sales of the entire Red Dead series exceeded 86 million copies.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the seventh best-selling video game of all time, surpassing titles such as Bethesda's Skyrim and Super Mario Bros. Nintendo. It breaks a record held by the latter since 1985. Red Dead Redemption 2 was released on October 26, 2918 for consoles and later became available on PC.
