Electronic Arts and BioWare have released an official 20-minute gameplay video for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. This trailer showcases some of the game's environments and characters, its dialogue tree, a boss fight, and its combat mechanics.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be powered by the latest version of the Frostbite Engine. And while we don't know if it will have any Ray Tracing effects, I have to say that at least it looks amazing.


In this new Dragon Age game, players will step into the world of Thedas, a living land of harsh wilderness, treacherous labyrinths, and glittering cities steeped in brutal combat and secret magic. Now the fate of this world hangs on a knife's edge.

Players will form a brave community to challenge the growing threat. Friendship, drama and romance will blossom as you assemble heroes into an extraordinary team.

Electronic Arts will release Dragon Age: The Veilguard in the fall of 2024.
