Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is one of my most anticipated games of 2024. And, from the looks of it, this new game powered by Unreal Engine 5 will only be able to run at 60fps. second on PC.
The Verge's Tom Warren claimed that the Xbox Series X|S version of Hellblade 2 will be locked at 30fps. second. As such, the only platform that will be able to run the game at 60fps is second - or even more - the PC.
It's a similar situation with Dragon's Dogma 2. Capcom's title is capable of achieving 60 frames per second. second - and more via DLSS 3 - only on PC. Its console versions struggle to reach 30fps. second, where the frame rate even drops to 23-25 frames per second. second in large cities.
Of course, this should not surprise us. Senua's Saga: Hellblade II will probably use both Nanite and Lumen. And to push its next-gen visual effects, the Xbox consoles will only be able to deliver an experience at 30 frames per second. second. This is something we are likely to witness in many future games.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II will be released on May 21st. As for the value, Microsoft has yet to share its PC system requirements. However, we do know that Hellblade 2 will be available both in the Microsoft Store and on Steam.
As much as I liked the first Hellblade game, I'm really looking forward to its sequel. From what I've seen, Senua's Saga will be similar. Its combat also appears to be similar, with Senua fighting one enemy at a time.
