Focus Entertainment has released a new 6-minute gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 where we get a look at the different gamemodes and many possibilities for development.

In the video, the game's creative director, Oliver Hollis-Leick, takes us and gives us more information about Space Marine 2. In the video, he explains more about the main story, multiplayer modes and how players can level up in the game.

The story in the campaign part of the game takes place 100 years after the events of Space Marine 1. Captain Titus is back again but after the events of the first game has been demoted to Lieutenant.

This trailer finally allows us to enjoy more than just one to two minutes of gameplay footage. The amount of enemies on the screen is impressive and is managed with the developers' Swarm Technology.


In Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 you get the opportunity to be a powerful Space Marine, one of The Emperor of Mankind's greatest warriors. The game promises to offer amazing abilities and really powerful weapons to wipe out the Tyranid enemies. You will also be able to unleash your skills and take down relentless hordes.

There is both the option of single player, Co-Op and Versus gameplay. So you can play through the entire campaign story by yourself or with up to two friends. Once that's done, you can jump into Online Multiplayer, where you also get the opportunity to play Chaos Marines.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will be powered by Saber Interactive's proprietary engine. This engine was also used in World War Z, which ran extremely well on PC. So we are curious to see how this new Warhammer game will fare with the many enemies that can appear on screen.

Focus Entertainment will release Space Marine 2 on September 9, 2024. There are no official PC requirements for the game yet, but we'll get back to you when Saber Interactive is ready to announce something.
