THQ Nordic has just released a PC demo for the upcoming remaster of their colorful 3D platformer, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. PC players can visit the game's Steam page and download the demo.

In this game, players will be able to explore a reinterpreted Wasteland, filled with Disney's timeless characters and stories. Their main weapon will be a magic brush. With this they can paint to create and use thinner to change the environment.

Players will encounter various iconic characters such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney's first creation, as they travel between different lands in the Wasteland. They'll also be able to collect virtual Disney pins, take on challenges and discover secrets while exploring classic platforming levels inspired by animated films and shorts.

The remaster promises to have advanced gameplay with new abilities. According to the game's description, Mickey will now have new moves such as dash, ground pound and sprint.

The publisher has also announced that the game will be released on September 24th. In addition, they have shared the official PC requirements.

Epic Mickey Rebrushed

At a minimum, PC gamers will need an AMD FX – 4300 or Intel Core i3 – 4130 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 380. The game will also require 28GB of free disk space. From what we can see, it will only support DX11 API and not DX12. I also don't see Denuvo mentioned on the site, so we can assume it won't use it.

The developers recommend using an AMD FX – 8300 x8 or Intel Core i5 – 3570K with 8 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 570 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti.

Purple Lamp has not specified what resolution, settings and framerate these PC specs are targeting. Still, from these PC specs, we can say that the game will be able to run on a wide variety of PC configurations.
