STALKER 2 will use Unreal Engine 5 and promises to have incredible graphical details. Back in June 2021, the team also shared the game's preliminary PC requirements. However, note that these PC specifications do not represent the final requirements.
Unlike other Unreal Engine 5 games, STALKER 2 will also be available on Steam. According to the game's page on Steam, the game will not have Denuvo. This is good news for those who boycott games with this protection, unless the developers add it at the last minute, which would be a shame.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl promises to have a large, realistic world to explore. You get to wander around a massive 64 square kilometer radioactive zone, filled with various post-apocalyptic environments. Players will also be able to decide how their story unfolds. Furthermore, the developers claim that the game will have a heavily branched epic narrative.
STALKER 2 will have a dynamic day-night cycle and a weather system. The game also promises an advanced AI and a life-simulating system called “A-life 2.0”. Additionally, there will be modding support as well as a multiplayer mode (which will be added shortly after release as a free update).
GSC GameWorld will release STALKER 2 on November 20th. In case you didn't know, the game has been delayed numerous times. So let's hope the wait will be worth it.
