Capcom has released a new 7-minute gameplay overview trailer for Dragon's Dogma 2, narrated by Ian McShane. This trailer contains only in-game footage, so be sure to watch it.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is a single-player, narrative-driven action RPG. In this game, you get to make a lot of choices like how your character looks, their job, who joins your team, and how you handle different parts of the game.

The game uses the RE Engine and promises to have good physics and intelligent enemies. And since RE Engine is a really efficient engine, we can assume that it will run smoothly on a wide range of PCs.

In November 2023, Capcom shared the game's official PC requirements. Those PC specs seemed a little high, which might explain why the console versions run at 30fps. For gaming at 2160i/30fps, Capcom recommended an Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon RX 6700. These requirements were also for the non-RT version of the game.

It's also worth noting that Dragon's Dogma 2 will only run at 60fps on PC. While the console version will have unlocked framerates, they will hardly be able to reach 30fps. So for the best gaming experience players will have to play it on PC.

At launch, Dragon's Dogma 2 will also support Ray Tracing and DLSS 3 Frame Generation. So, thanks to DLSS 3, PC gamers will be able to further improve performance. However, there is still no word on whether the game will support AMD FSR 3.0.

Capcom will release Dragon's Dogma 2 on March 22nd.
