Daedalic has announced a new horror game, The Occultist, coming to PC in 2025.

To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared a cinematic trailer, which you can find below.

The Occultist will use a first-person perspective and will have stealth mechanics. Players will experience the game world through the eyes of Alan Rebels and use the mysterious pendulum to uncover what happened in GodStone.


The game promises to have all the characteristic elements of the survival horror genre, with tense exploration and atmosphere, as well as a close and personal narrative.

As the developers have stated, Alan will always avoid direct combat. Therefore, he will have to rely on his stealth skills to progress in the story without being caught in bed.

It's kind of sad that this trailer doesn't include any in-game sequences. Therefore, it is a disappointment for most gamers. However, the Steam store page has an in-game GIF, so I've included that below as well.
