PQube and Dual Effect have revealed 24 minutes of gameplay from their upcoming survival horror game, Tormented Souls 2. Tormented Souls 2 will be powered by Unreal Engine 5 and is inspired by the classic Resident Evil games. In addition, the game will have fixed camera angles.

This extended gameplay presentation provides an insight into the world of the game. Hero Caroline Walker will embark on a terrifying journey to save her sister from a mysterious illness.

The first reveal shows the eerie beauty of the carefully designed environments. In addition, the developers promise to raise the horror experience to unprecedented levels. Or at least according to the press release.


In this game, Caroline will be able to fight her enemies with only improvised weapons. Players will navigate through a nerve-wracking experience that promises to be three times larger than the original Tormented Souls .

Tormented Souls 2 also promises to have an eerie atmosphere, twisty puzzles, terrifying enemies and a harrowing story. Players can expect gruesome psychological horror, intense combat, unrelenting tension and nightmarish locations.

PQube will release the game on PC in 2025.
