Sony has just announced that the remake of Until Dawn will be released for PC on October 4th. To celebrate this announcement, the company has shared a new trailer.

This trailer compares the remake to the original version to give you an idea of the visual and graphical improvements that will be implemented.

Until Dawn will now be powered by Unreal Engine 5. According to Sony, Ballistic Moon has updated character models, environments, interactive props, visual effects and animations. Additionally, it looks like the game will get Ray Tracing.

Sony has yet to reveal the game's PC requirements. However, we do know that Until Dawn will require a PSN account on PC.

Finally, the developers have reworked the game's prologue. As Sony noted, they have given the Washington family extra screen time to explore their close family bond and get to know them better. They have also reworked some of the original scenes and developed the context around the infamous prank.
