Soundcore, Anker's audio brand, has just launched its Space 2 headphones after a sneak preview at the MWC trade show in Barcelona. It's a set of over-ear headphones aimed at travelers and everyday users who need solid noise cancellation and battery life for those long trips.

Advanced four-stage noise reduction

The biggest upgrade in the Space 2 is their new 4-stage Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The system is optimized to eliminate low-frequency noise, making them especially suitable for taking out the deep hum of an airplane cabin or a bus. The ANC system automatically adjusts depending on whether you are sitting in an office or on noisy transportation.

The headphones are built with a focus on comfort for long sessions, and they are equipped with soft memory foam ear cushions so they don't press too much during the day.

Sound quality and smart features

In terms of sound, the Space 2 uses 40mm drivers with a dual-layer membrane consisting of silk and metal ceramic material. This should provide rich bass and clear vocals, no matter what genre you listen to.

As a practical detail, the Space 2 has "Smart Wearing Detection". This means that the music automatically pauses when you take them off your head and starts again when you put them on. For calls, they are equipped with three microphones and AI noise reduction, so your voice comes through clearly without too much background noise.

Battery for the whole week

Battery life is one of the big advantages here:

  • With ANC on: Up to 50 hours.
  • Without ANC: Up to 70 hours.

If you do run out of power, a quick five-minute charge will give you around four hours of additional listening time. You can also customize the sound to your own hearing via the "HearID" feature in their app, which tests your hearing and adjusts the frequencies you may have difficulty hearing.


Price and Availability: The Soundcore Space 2 is available in three colors: Linen White, Jet Black, and Seafoam Green. They are available at select retailers and online for a suggested retail price of DKK 1,199.
