Seasonic launches their PRIME TX and PRIME PX power supplies in updated ATX 3.0 versions.

The new ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 standards bring better future-proofing with them, and better options for driving devices, such as the latest graphics cards. However, this also means that you will eventually have to upgrade your power supply if you want the new benefits.

If you don't want to make the leap to a new power supply just yet, Seasonic also offers upgrade kits for some of their power supplies.

Seasonic is now launching their popular PRIME TX and PRIME PX series in updated ATX 3.0 versions. The new PRIME TX-1600, PRIME TX-1300 and PRIMEPX-1600 are fully ATX 3.0 certified and support the new PCIe 5.0 standard.

This means that they are well equipped for modern systems. They come with the new 12VHPWR cable, so you can get rid of the need for an adapter if you buy an Nvidia RTX 4000 series graphics card.

As we know from many of Seasonic's power supplies, they are all fully modular. That way, you can make do with just the cables you need.

The TX series comes with an 80 PLUS Titanium rating while the PX series comes with 80 PLUS Platinum. Both series have a 12-year warranty underpinning Seasonic's dedication to high-quality components.

Both series will land in stores during June and July with announced prices from €459.90 to €549.90.
