HP has just unveiled their news for HP Imagine 2026. This year, it's mainly about two new gaming desktops from HyperX and a number of updates to the Omen software, where AI will help wring more performance out of the hardware.

HP Imagine is the annual event where we get a look at the direction HP is moving in, and this year there is clearly a focus on making it easier to upgrade your gear yourself and use the software to optimize the gaming experience without the big frills.

HyperX Omen Max 45L: The heavy boy in the class

If you're looking for maximum performance, the HyperX Omen Max 45L is the one to look at. It's built for those who don't want to compromise on hardware, but who also want a machine that's easy to tinker with for future upgrades.

Under the hood we find an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor and the fierce NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. There is room for a whopping 128 GB of DDR5 RAM, and it is all fed by a modular 1200W power supply.

To keep the heat under control, HP uses their Cryo Chamber system and a 360 mm water cooler with a built-in LCD screen. A detail that many geeks will appreciate is the tool-free access to the chassis and the improved cable routing, which makes it significantly easier to change components yourself.

HyperX Omen 35L: Solid performance for most

With the Omen 35L, HP is trying to reach a slightly broader segment where you still get high performance, but in a slightly more accessible package.

Here you get an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and an RTX 5080 graphics card, which should be more than enough for serious gaming. The cooling is designed to keep the machine quiet, even when the waves are loud for extended sessions. Like its big brother, the 35L is built around off-the-shelf components, so you're not locked into proprietary parts if you want to change hardware later.

Omen AI moves into more games

HP is now expanding its Omen AI feature to games like Minecraft, Roblox, and Marvel Rivals. The idea is pretty simple: you can optimize your FPS with a single click.

Behind the scenes, the system uses machine learning to fine-tune both hardware and Windows settings based on data from other players. According to HP, Minecraft players can experience up to 50 percent higher FPS, which is a pretty significant boost if it holds up in practice.

New creative tools in Omen Gaming Hub

The Omen Gaming Hub is also getting an overhaul with integrations from HeyGen and Voicemod, meaning you can now play with AI avatars and voice distortion right in the software.

Voicemod gives you access to over 200 voice effects and a huge library of sounds, which is probably mostly aimed at those who stream or just want to have a little fun with friends on Discord. There are also tools to quickly generate highlights from your gameplay, so you don't have to cut it all out manually.

Price and availability

The new HyperX Omen Max 45L and Omen 35L will hit stores in Denmark in May. We don't yet know the exact prices, but they are expected to be announced closer to launch. The software updates for Omen AI and Gaming Hub are already available now.
