DJI has packed a lot of hardware and tech into a small package with the Osmo Pocket 3. It has a powerful 1-inch CMOS sensor, meaning you don't have to compromise on the detail of your imaging just because you're on the move.
Additionally, it features an intuitive 2-inch rotatable touch screen that gives you precise control and the ability to effortlessly switch between horizontal and vertical recording. Capture your experiences in 4K/120fps video quality, three-axis mechanical stabilization and a wide range of intelligent functions, so you get it all, whatever the pace.
"With the Osmo Pocket 3, we have reinvented handheld imaging and offer the user a tool that combines precision and portability like never before. We can't wait to see what incredible stories and moments our customers will capture with this remarkable camera" says Paul Pan , Senior Product Line Manager at DJI.
Despite its small size, the Pocket 3 offers plenty of options, even for the more discerning user who wants a little more with his recordings. There is an option for both 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG HDR recording, so there are good opportunities to get good colors or a customized look via color grading.
Just as you know from other products from DJI, there are of course also a number of automatic functions built in, which can make the experience easier and automatically ensure good images.
ActiveTrack 6.0 offers several features including Auto-detect function to focus on faces and dynamic framing for film-level shooting. The built-in array of three microphones filters out noise and captures stereo sounds from all directions, providing deep, vivid sound.
DJI Mic 2 compatibility enables two-person recording for vlogs, interviews and live streams. Glamor Effects 2.0 also makes it possible to add beauty-enhancing effects, while the Osmo Pocket 3's automatic axle lock secures the camera in storage position.
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 has landed in stores now and can be had for 800$, while the Pocket 3 Creator Combo with extra accessories is sold for 900$.
