Glorious Gaming, otherwise best known for their popular mice and keyboards, is now completing their ecosystem. They have just presented their first gaming headsets: GHS Eternal and GHS Eternal RGB. The mission is clear: to deliver build quality and great sound at a price where you are usually forced to make big compromises.

Glorious has designed the new headsets with a strong focus on comfort during marathon sessions. Both models are equipped with memory foam ear cushions that mold to the shape of the head and relieve pressure - a crucial detail for gamers who wear glasses. The more expensive RGB model further upgrades with a suspension headband that distributes weight optimally.

The build quality is aptly described as "rage-proof." They're reinforced with sturdy materials to withstand the inevitable frustrations of losing an important match. Both headsets have detachable microphones, so you can peel them off and use them as regular headphones on the go without looking like a helicopter pilot on the bus. On the ear cups themselves, there are tactile aluminum knobs for controlling volume, muting the microphone, and handling media playback. The RGB model also gets a dedicated "Chat Mix" function right at your fingertips.

The two models fall into two different camps depending on your connectivity and software control needs:

  • GHS Eternal RGB: Connects via USB-C (works with PC, console, and mobile). This version integrates directly with the Glorious CORE software. Here you get a full graphic equalizer so you can fine-tune the sound (e.g. turn up the treble to hear footsteps in shooters, or pump up the bass for single-player experiences). This is also where you control the eye-catching RGB lighting that runs along the ear cups.
  • GHS Eternal (Standard): The simple "plug-and-play" choice. It connects via a classic 3.5mm jack, requires no software, and has no RGB lighting. It gives you pure sound without any frills.

The sound is delivered by Glorious's own custom-tuned 40mm drivers. The big technical draw here is that the drivers are angled. Rather than shooting the sound flat towards the ear, they are angled to match the natural anatomy of the ear canal. This expands the soundstage and makes it significantly easier to determine exactly where the footsteps or shots are coming from in the game.

The detachable microphone has an omnidirectional pickup pattern. The aim is to capture your voice clearly and naturally, so your Discord calls come through crystal clear without sounding muddy.

With the GHS Eternal series, Glorious delivers a strong proposition for your next headset, especially if you're on a budget but refuse to compromise on basic features. The fact that they manage to include angled drivers, a detachable microphone, memory foam, and aluminum controls in this price range is definitely impressive.

Both headsets are available now in both black and white via Glorious' website and selected retailers with the following European price tags:

  • GHS Eternal (3.5mm Jack): From €59.99 (approx. 450 DKK)
  • GHS Eternal RGB (USB-C): From €89.99 (approx. 675 DKK)
