It has an impressive battery life of up to 11.5 hours on a single charge, with both RGB and ANC disabled, with an additional 34.5 hours from the charging case. The headset is equipped with adaptive ANC technology, which effectively blocks unwanted background noise, so you can fully immerse yourself in the game or music without disturbances, the adaptive part, however, also means that it detects your surroundings, in relation to how much sound needs to be closed out.
It is very easy to change the silicone ear tips on the ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova headset. The earplugs can be easily removed and put back on by pulling them off and pressing the new ones into place. This design ensures that you can quickly adjust the earphones to achieve the most comfortable and secure fit that suits your ears.
The sound control on the ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova headset is intuitive and user-friendly. Each earbud has touch controls that make it easy to control volume, play or pause music, answer calls and activate voice assistants. A single press can start or stop the music, a double press can adjust the volume or switch to the next song, and a long press activates ANC or the voice assistant. This makes it possible to operate the headset effectively without having to take your device out of your pocket.
The test – The sound, use and comfort
To test the headset, I have of course used it over a longer period, both for regular calls, but also music. The headset has incredibly good comfort and sits well in the ear. It's not because I needed to mash it in to make sure it was seated. Although I wasn't out running a marathon, the head was tossed around a bit and I moved quite a bit to test how much it would take to get them to fall out.
When it comes to the sound, the headset has a really good sound, the treble can be a bit dominant, and it clearly requires tweaking to achieve a sound that you are personally satisfied with. I also tried activating the Bass booster, but with the result that it did not give a desired bass effect, but rather made the sound more humming and the volume itself became lower, for the rest of the music.
Calls it handled really well, and again the sound was maybe a bit dark in it, but I didn't experience any problems being able to hear or be heard.
Finally, I will also go through games. Since it is a headset that can also be connected to the computer, it offers slightly more options than many other True wireless headsets. In addition to that, Armory crate also has a gaming profile for the headset, which adjusts the sounds to suit gaming, rather than music. Here, the ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova also manages to deliver the goods, although it won't become my favorite gaming headset, I can easily see scenarios where it can get its due, and do the job very well.

Conclusion
The ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova is an impressive headset that delivers a solid performance on several fronts. After a longer test period, where I have used the headset for both calls and music, I can conclude that the comfort is top notch. The headset sits well in the ear without the need to be pressed into place, and even with strong head movements it does not fall out.
The sound quality is generally very good, although the treble can be a bit dominant, which requires adjustment to achieve the optimal sound experience. The bass booster function unfortunately does not deliver the expected bass boost, but results in a humming sound and lower volume of the music.
Calls are handled efficiently with clear and distinct sound, albeit a little dark, but no problems arise in hearing or being heard. The connection to the computer and the dedicated game profile in Armory Crate open up additional possibilities, and here the headset also performs well. Although it may not replace your favorite gaming headset, the ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova is still a strong candidate for versatile use both in everyday life and during games.
I therefore also end the test by giving the ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova from ASUS a score of 8 out of 10, for a well-made product that functions impeccably and ensures good sound. The price is of course on the high end, but compared to other true wireless, you get a more versatile experience with the ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova, which not only connects to the phone, but also provides the option for the computer and consoles with gaming.
