ROMO comes in three designs, all with the same technology and performance. The Romo P is fully transparent, with both robot and dock featuring a complete “see-through” aesthetic, and has a dedicated compartment in the dock for adding fragrance when mopping, which is unique to ROMO. The Romo A combines a partially transparent robot with a white dock, while the Romo S is an all-white, minimalist version.

Unlike many other robot vacuums that only partially slide into their docking stations, ROMO drives completely into the base itself. This gives greater freedom in placement, it can stand close to a wall, discreetly under a piece of furniture or stand out as part of the interior.

Navigates like a drone
ROMO navigates using two stereo cameras with a 170-degree field of view and dual-source 3D ToF solid-state LiDAR, which provides a perfect overview of the surroundings in three dimensions. The sensors work in real time and ensure that ROMO not only detects furniture and door steps, but also small objects as small as 2 millimeters.

Navigation decisions are made in milliseconds by a dedicated AI processor, ensuring fast response with calm and stable control – even when changing direction. ROMO works stably in darkness, backlighting, along glass sections and on dark floors, where many robots can otherwise lose orientation.
Effective cleaning right into the corners
ROMO is designed to clean where many other robot vacuums give up. Along panels and edges, it uses a mechanical cleaning arm that automatically extends its reach, reaching into corners and getting close to furniture, where traditional side brushes often leave dirt behind.
The air-optimized motor is connected directly to the intake via a straight air duct, which reduces resistance and ensures stable suction. With 25,000 Pa suction power and 20 liters of air flow per second, ROMO removes both fine dust and heavier particles such as sand and cat litter.

The two counter-rotating main brushes each have their own motor, so hair doesn't get tangled around the brushes. When the robot detects larger amounts of dirt, it automatically increases suction power to get everything in on the first try.
Floor cleaning and maintenance without manual maintenance
Floor mopping is an integral part of ROMO's work and requires no additional activation during operation. The two rotating mopping units work with even, controlled pressure against the floor, so dirt is effectively loosened instead of simply being dragged around on an otherwise freshly cleaned floor. An integrated 164 ml water tank automatically doses the required amount of water, and sensors monitor the mop load and send the robot back to the base station when it is time to clean.
In the base station, the mops are automatically washed with detergent. The program runs up to 60 to remove grease and bacteria. ROMO also has a dedicated function for removing grease.

The base station is designed to take care of itself. The mop tray is rinsed with high-pressure water, the dust channel is dried with hot air, and the dust container is disinfected with UV light to prevent odor and bacterial growth. The system has separate water tanks of 4 liters for clean water and 3.2 liters for dirty water, and the sealed dust container of 2.4 liters makes emptying hygienic. Depending on the cleaning pattern, ROMO can operate for up to 200 days without manual maintenance.
Quiet operation and intelligent control
ROMO is designed to run in everyday life without dominating the room. When vacuuming, the noise level is 54 dB, equivalent to the same sound level as a quiet conversation, and the emptying in the base station stays at approximately 65 dB. The built-in 5000 mAh battery provides up to three hours of operation on a single charge, and the system supports 55 W intelligent charging, which shortens the charging time and ensures that the robot can resume work quickly.

ROMO via the DJI Home app, where cleaning can be easily customized to suit your room, schedule, and needs. Here, the user can create no-go zones, save maps of multiple floors, and share control with the rest of the household. ROMO is equipped with a camera and microphone, allowing for video connection and two-way communication directly from the app.
