German hardware manufacturer be quiet! has expanded its cooler line with the Light Loop IO LCD – a new all-in-one (AIO) water cooler designed for heavily overclocked systems. The model combines high cooling performance and quiet operation with a striking IPS display, intense ARGB lighting and a new bundled IO controller.

Aaron Licht, CEO of be quiet!, says:

“With the Light Loop IO LCD, we are expanding the series with a model that combines powerful cooling, quiet operation and a new level of personalization. The IPS screen, ARGB lighting and the included IO Controller make the cooler an obvious choice for users who want both high performance and a unique look.”

IPS screen and intelligent cable management

The eye-catcher of the new model is a round 2.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480x480 pixels and a brightness of 500 nits. The display can be visually customized to display system information, animations or images.

  • Magnetic IO controller: Combines power and signal in a single cable to the cooling head. The controller can be freely placed in the case via magnets.
  • Clean lines: The fan cables are hidden along the covered hoses to reduce cable clutter.
  • Refillable: The cooler has an easily accessible fill port and extra coolant is included in the box to ensure long life.

Quiet pump and powerful fans

The cooler itself uses a specially designed jet plate and a dense copper heatsink for maximum heat dissipation from powerful CPUs. The pump is driven by an advanced control chip (progressive IC) that minimizes switching noise. The air is moved by daisy-chained Light Wings LX PWM high-speed fans with funnel-shaped air outlets.

Updated software and web browser management

With the new Windows application IO Center , you can customize ARGB lighting effects, fan profiles, and on-screen displays (e.g. CPU/GPU temperatures and clock speeds). The settings can be saved directly to the cooler's built-in memory.

In addition, IO Center Web is being launched, which makes it possible to adjust the setup directly from a Chromium-based browser on Mac, Windows or Linux without the use of administrator rights.
