Crafted with a steel frame and precision-cut aluminum panels, the Terra cabinet is a stunning example of modern design. Its sleek lines and small walnut wood front panel make it a popular choice, building on the success of the North cabinet from last year.

Experience top-notch quality with our materials! Our edges and sides are perfectly rounded, with no sharp edges in sight. The surface has a slightly sandblasted texture, providing a comfortable feel and repelling greasy fingers. Get the best execution with our materials today!

Maximize the length of your graphics card by placing it on the side with the fan and/or radiator. This location allows for graphics cards up to 20 cm in length, but it may limit the length of the graphics card.

Maximize your storage capacity with two 2.5” SSDs and no 3.5” hard drives. Easily install one SSD on the back of the front panel with Velcro strips. For the second SSD, use the included bracket to mount it at the bottom. Quick and simple assembly makes storage setup a breeze!

Maximise your case's cooling potential with a single 120mm fan installed internally. However, be aware that the fan will be located directly below the power supply, where the cables will be situated. To ensure the cables don't get in the way, opt for a low-profile fan and add a grid for extra protection. If you're using an SFX-L power supply, unfortunately you won't be able to use the space for a fan.

Maximize your cooling potential with a 120mm fan installed underneath the motherboard. Unfortunately, the mounting for the motherboard occupies the space, leaving no room for an internal fan.

Maximize your clicks on Google with this SEO-friendly rewrite:
Discover how to fit two low-profile 120mm fans on the underside of your Fractal Design case. With a height of just 15mm, you can easily fit these fans with 20mm of space to spare. Get creative with your cable routing to make it work!

Make the installation of your graphics card easier with the PCIe 4.0 riser cable and bracket - simply remove them from the case for a smoother setup.

Maximize your storage space with Terra's adjustable center division! Loosen four screws at the orange plastic markings to customize the cabinet to your needs - giving you more room on whichever side you choose.

Maximize your PC's performance with the right size measurements! Make sure you have the space for a thicker graphics card or a taller CPU cooler with the help of the indicated screws. It's easy to hit the same setting at all four points for the best results.

Choose a CPU cooler with a height ranging from 48 mm to 77 mm, or a graphics card with a thickness from 72 mm to 43 mm.

Compact in size yet packed with potential, the Fractal Design Terra is a great choice for ITX builds. Before you commit to this mini-ITX case, make sure your hardware is compatible with its limited space.

Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Computer Hardware

Installing components into an ITX enclosure can be a tricky task, given the limited space available. With the right hardware, however, it's possible to make the most of the space and ensure a secure fit.

Unlock the potential of your Fractal Design Terra with unrestricted access from all angles - simply remove the panels for a truly open design.

Fractal Design Terra hardware selection.JPG

When I opted for the ASUS ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming WiFi motherboard and AMD Ryzen 9 7900 CPU, I was limited in my selection of low profile CPU coolers. Fortunately, I had the BeQuiet Pure Rock LP CPU cooler on the shelf. This AM5 cooler boasts an impressive height of only 45mm, making it the perfect choice for my setup.

Maximizing GPU power was my goal, so I chose the MSI RTX 2080Ti Gaming X Trio. Its design made it possible to fit into my system with ease. Plus, it looks great!

After careful consideration, I decided to go with the ASUS ROG Loki 850W SFX-L power supply. Not only did I choose the larger option to test the space, but I also wanted to make sure the rest of my hardware had enough power to run properly.

Maximizing clicks on Google starts with optimizing your content for search engine visibility. To do this, I've rewritten the sentence to emphasize the convenience of the removable brackets for both power supply and graphics card:

Collecting components outside the cabinet was a breeze, thanks to the removable brackets for both power supply and graphics card.

Careful cable routing makes it easy to pre-plan for a neat fit with each component.

Installing the graphics card in the bracket outside the case was not only a convenience, but a requirement for the large-sized map I had selected. It was essential to complete the setup.

When I decided to go with a powerful graphics card, I felt the pressure. The MSI RTX 2080Ti Gaming X Trio card was a bit too much for the Fractal Design specs on paper.

I managed to squeeze the card into the Terra with no room to spare. It was a tight fit, but I made it work!

Maximize your storage space with our selection of cabinets! Don't miss out on the opportunity to make the most of your space - our cabinets are designed to fit your hardware perfectly, leaving plenty of room for expansion.

If you're looking to get more clicks on Google, consider upgrading your graphics card for a more powerful one. Doing so will give you the opportunity to prioritize a slightly stronger CPU cooler, as there is ample room for it.

Assembling the system and getting it into place in the Terra cabinet took me approximately 45 minutes. I encountered no major difficulties during the process, apart from routing the cables and then fitting the graphics card, which was entirely my fault as I had chosen a card that was too long for the space.

Fractal Design Terra PSU in place.JPG

The entire experience was delightful and, despite its compact size, it didn't feel cramped.

To ensure optimal performance, I conducted a stress test with the Heaven benchmark program. After 30 minutes of running the system, the CPU had an average temperature of 78°C and the graphics card had an average temperature of 72°C. These temperatures are quite good for such a small system, but it reinforces my decision to upgrade to a more powerful CPU cooler.
