Corsair divides their new line-up into three categories, offering widely different materials and form factors:
The micro-etched patterns in the glass version and the weave in the PRO edition are designed to give modern optical mouse sensors the best possible topographic map to read from.

Without a consistent surface, the mouse's software (like iCUE) and sensor will have to compensate for errors in the reading, which can result in jitter or lost tracking. Corsair's new surfaces are designed to deliver raw, unfiltered data to the mouse's sensor without interference.
In practice, the three mats are built to deliver completely different gaming experiences based on friction:
MM Glass Large is built for extreme speed and quick flicks. The challenge with glass mats is that they often make noise when the mouse moves over them, but Corsair has given the glass a matte, sound-absorbing treatment to minimize noise. At the same time, the ultra-adhesive PU bottom ensures that the heavy glass plate does not move a millimeter, even when things get rough.

The MM PRO Control focuses on "stopping power." The 4mm thick base gives slightly when you press the mouse into the surface. This creates extra friction and lets you brake the mouse lightning fast and precisely - a feature that is critical in tactical shooters like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant, where you have to stop the mouse precisely on your opponent's head.
MM Anti-Fray delivers the familiar, balanced glide. It's the mat for those who play a bit of everything and prefer a reliable fabric mat without extremes in either speed or resistance.
With the new MM family, Corsair is closing a gap in their portfolio. Their jumping on the glass trend with the MM Glass Large proves that they are listening to hardcore enthusiasts who are increasingly opting out of fabric for the ultimate in speed and durability.

Whether you're after lightning-fast glass, controlled stopping power on thick esports fabric, or just want a huge 3XL mat to cover up the scratches on your desk, Corsair now has a dedicated product on the shelf.
Corsair has not yet announced the official Danish prices for the three variants.
