Razer is ready with the successor to their Atlas glass mat, and this time they have focused on making it as thin as possible. The result is the Atlas Pro, which with a total thickness of only 1.9 mm is the thinnest glass mat on the market so far.

More ergonomic than the thick glass mats

Most glass mats on the market are typically over 3mm thick, which can be felt at the wrist. By reducing the thickness to under 2mm (with the glass itself being only 1.1mm), the Atlas Pro sits almost flush with the desk. This provides a more natural angle for the wrist and removes the edge often felt on thicker models.

Despite its low profile, the surface is made of tempered glass with a hardness of 9H. In practice, this means that it is extremely difficult to scratch with everyday objects like keys or coins, and it is easy to wipe clean if it gets dirty.


Designed for precision and low friction

The Atlas Pro is aimed at gamers who play FPS games or practice their aim and prefer the low friction of glass. The surface features a 2µm micro-texture, developed in collaboration with Razer's sensor partners to ensure the mouse tracks accurately regardless of sensitivity.

Nice details for the desk

Razer has listened to feedback from previous models and made a few practical updates:

  • Larger surface: The mat now measures 500 x 400 mm (11% larger than its predecessor), allowing for large movements.
  • Rounded edges: The edges are CNC milled and rounded so they don't cut into the arm during use.
  • Full rubber base: Instead of just having feet in the corners, the entire back is covered in rubber. This makes the mat more stable and helps dampen the sound when the mouse runs across the glass.

Price and availability: We don't have the exact Danish price yet, but Razer has set it at 159.99 Euro, which is around 1,200 kroner. That's a lot of money for a mouse pad, but if you're a fan of glass surfaces and want the most discreet solution on your desk, this is the latest offering.
