Warhorse Studios has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been delayed until next year. Originally, the game was scheduled for release in 2024. However, as stated by the developers, Kingdom Come 2 will now be released on February 11, 2025.
The developers will reveal a 20-minute gameplay video at Gamescom 2024. My guess is that the video will give a sneak peek at one of the main missions. And since it may contain raw gameplay footage, it should be an exciting and cool preview. So we're looking forward to seeing that.
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players will take on the role of Henry of Skalitz, caught up in a riveting tale of revenge, betrayal and discovery as he embarks on an epic journey "from a humble forge to the court of kings" while he seeks meaning in this beautiful but brutal medieval world. The game is set amidst the chaos of a civil war in 15th century Bohemia.
Although Warhorse has yet to share the game's PC requirements, Daniel Vávra claimed that the NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super can run Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 at 60fps at 4K/Very High Settings. So this should give us a small idea of how the game runs on a high-end PC system.
We also know that it will support both NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR at launch. Also, the game will be powered by CRYENGINE. So we're excited to see it in action.
