Yesterday, Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC received their latest Season 2 update with Nightfall, which brings with it a new limited-time game mode, the Hagental Base map, new weapons, and a dirt bike.

Darkness descends upon Battlefield with a whole new way to play. This includes a remix of Hagental Base, where the map is transformed with darkened corridors that provide excellent opportunities to flank and outmaneuver your opponents using darkness as a weapon.


Players will have access to Night Vision Goggles in their loadout to even the odds, giving squads unprecedented paths to victory through the stealth combat fantasy. Nightfall is also coming to REDSEC with a Gauntlet playlist. Learn more about the darkness modifiers here.

The new weapons include the CZ3A1 SMG and the VZ. 61 as a sidearm.

Alongside this update, Battlefield REDSEC players will have the chance to try their hand at the all-out warfare of Battlefield 6. You can find more information about the free trial here.
