Season 3 launches in May, and the big news here is a rebirth of the Golmud Railway from Battlefield 4. In the new version, the map is called Railway to Golmud, and it will be the largest map in Battlefield 6 so far. It takes place in Tajikistan and is of course updated to the latest graphics engine.
Later in the season, another classic will return: an updated version of the Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3, this time named Cairo Bazaar.
For those playing REDSEC, Ranked Play is finally being introduced. It starts in Battle Royale Quads, and the idea is to continually evolve based on player feedback.
This summer, Season 4 will land, and the theme is Naval Warfare. This means a comeback to large-scale naval battles in both BF6 and REDSEC.

The year ends with Season 5, which takes us to a location the series has never visited before. As a little Christmas present, they're dropping three new maps this season.
Perhaps most importantly, the studio is working on a series of "Quality of Life" updates. Here's the list of features prioritized this year:
Later in the year, the official competitions, the Open and Elite series, will also be launched after the Ranked Play system has been refined.
