STALKER 2 uses Unreal Engine 5 and promises to have impressive graphics. Back in June 2021, the team also shared the game's preliminary PC requirements. However, note that these specifications are not necessarily the final ones.

Unlike other games that use Unreal Engine 5, STALKER 2 will also be available on Steam. According to the game's Steam page, it won't have Denuvo protection, which is good news for those who avoid games with this technology.


STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl promises to offer a huge, realistic world to explore. You will be given the opportunity to move around a massive radioactive zone of 64 square kilometers, filled with post-apocalyptic environments. In addition, players will be able to decide how their story develops. The developers also claim that the game will have a very branching, epic narrative.

STALKER 2 will have a dynamic day-night cycle and a weather system. The game also promises advanced AI and a life simulation system called “A-life 2.0”. Additionally, there will be support for modding as well as a multiplayer mode which will be added shortly after release as a free update.

GSC GameWorld plans to release the game on November 20.
