It's the season for game announcements and most recently it's the Ubisoft game that's had a lot of news about it. Ubisoft has released a 10-minute gameplay video for their upcoming Star Wars game, Star Wars Outlaws.

This extended gameplay video shows off some of the game's environments and general mechanics. Star Wars Outlaws takes place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. In this game, players will explore different planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new.

Players will take on the role of Kay Vess, an up-and-coming rogue seeking freedom and the means to start a new life. Along with Vess, players will find her companion Nix. Players will fight, steal and outsmart their way through the galaxy's crime syndicates as they join the galaxy's most wanted.

The game will also have Ray Tracing effects and will support DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction. Ubisoft and NVIDIA have not shared further details about these RT effects. My guess is that we might get RTGI like we saw in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Ubisoft will release this new Star Wars game on August 30th.
