New AMD graphics cards at Gamescom

Although we already know they are on the way via leaks, AMD has now officially announced that we will be presenting new graphics cards at this year's Gamescom.

Last week we wrote here about Powercolor, who had been a little too quick on the trigger and had come to reveal the details of the upcoming RX 7800 XT graphics card from AMD. Now, however, AMD has come out and confirmed that at Gamescom on August 25 at 17.00 will host an event where they will present new products.

It comes in a Tweet from AMD's Senior Vice President & General Manager Graphics Business Unit Scott Herkelman.

Although Herkelman does not provide many details, based on Powercolor's leak, among other things, we can probably expect to see the RX 7800 XT card presented. Along with that, many also expect that we will see the RX 7700 XT and updates on some of the technologies that AMD is working on.

These are expected updates around AMD's HYPR-RX and FSR3. Especially FSR3, which will take on Nvidia's DLSS3, is highly anticipated among AMD fans.
