There is very little real information about the upcoming printer from Bambu Lab. However, high goals have been set for the upcoming printer, which will land above their current Bambu Lab X1 series, which for many is already a Gold Standard within Consumer 3D Print.
In connection with the new update to the launch plan, Bambu Lab has sent the following statement:
We are pleased to share an update on our upcoming line of advanced 3D printers. We have adjusted our launch schedule and the new release date is now set for early 2025.
This change allows us to integrate more innovative features and ensure the product meets our high standards before launch. Quality is our highest priority and we do not compromise.
This new range is aimed at prosumers who demand premium performance and innovation in 3D printing. The range will sit above our current X1 range and bring some exciting new technologies with it.
Dr. Tao, CEO and co-founder of Bambu Lab, puts it this way: "We're building something that will push the boundaries of what's possible in consumer 3D printing. This extra time ensures we can deliver on that promise with a product that is fully ready and supported globally.”
The extended timeframe isn't just about perfecting the printer. We also focus on global preparedness, ensuring that we have sufficient inventory, spare parts and robust logistics in place in all regions. We want you to have a seamless experience from day one, wherever you are.
We are excited about the progress we are making and look forward to sharing more details next year.
Although it is obviously sad to have to wait even longer for more information, it is nice to hear that Bambu Lab is making an extra effort to ensure a completed product and a solid launch.
We are of course following developments and look forward to more information when Bambu Lab is ready with them.
