Roland Mossig, CEO of Noctua, says:
“We have already seen amazing projects come to life with the Noctua colored PLA Prusaments. The new PETG materials are stronger and can withstand higher temperatures, so we are very excited to see what users will create with them.”
While PLA plastic is ideal for fast and uncomplicated prints without requirements for high mechanical strength, PETG is the obvious choice for structural parts and heat-exposed components.

Temperature resistance: PETG can withstand temperatures above 50 °C , making it suitable for modified PC cases, air ducts and electronics boxes close to hot components.
Higher wear resistance: The material is more tough and mechanically durable than PLA.
Precise color matching: Both Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown are fine-tuned to perfectly match Noctua fans.
Like Prusa's other filaments, the new PETG rolls are manufactured in-house at Prusa Research in Prague, Czech Republic, ensuring high quality with an extremely tight diameter tolerance of just ±0.02 mm and consistent color accuracy.

Prusament PETG Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown are available for immediate purchase directly from Prusa's online store.
