AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 APU has appeared on Geekbench with 8 "Zen 5" cores and Radeon 880M iGPU. AMD's Strix Point series is expanding, and we now know that the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 exists. Recently, it was reported that Lenovo is working on a PC with Copilot+ certification that will feature one of the upcoming Ryzen AI 300 PRO chips. Now a model has been spotted on Geekbench.
According to @Olrak29_(Everest), this APU has been spotted on Geekbench with performance numbers. The processor was tested on a platform called 'AMD KoratPlus-STXKRK', where 'STX' probably stands for Strix Point and 'KRK' stands for Krackan Point, a variant of Strix Point for the mainstream market.
This Ryzen AI PRO 360 is an 8-core, 16-thread processor with a base frequency of 2.00 GHz. Its iGPU is an RDNA 3.5-based Radeon 880M with 12 Compute Units. This means that the Ryzen AI PRO 360 probably belongs to the Strix Point family, where the Krackan Point targets low-power and budget-friendly mobile CPUs.
In the past, the Strix Point APUs have mainly been used in gaming laptops. The Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 will be an entry-level model with 3x Zen 5 and 5x Zen 5C cores, which is slightly less than the Ryzen AI 7 365, which has 4x Zen 5 and 6x Zen 5C cores. While the Ryzen AI 7 365 will have better performance due to more cores, both CPUs have the same Radeon 880M graphics, indicating that their graphics performance will be similar.
AMD is expected to unveil Ryzen AI 300 PRO chips on October 10, and the Strix Halo will be revealed at CES next year.
