The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may lack the blue titanium color that debuted with the iPhone 15. New rumors suggest a bronze-like color for the new models.

The launch of the iPhone 16 series is only a few weeks away, and as we get closer to the big Apple event in September, the rumors about the upcoming iPhone 16 models are increasing. Earlier this week, we saw mock-ups that revealed the design and color choices of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. Now a tipster has revealed new information about the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. As mentioned in a report by MacRumors, the well-known Weibo-based leaker 'Fixed focus digital' claims that we might see a new bronze or bronze-like color for the Pro models of the iPhone 16 series.

Over the past few months, several tipsters and analysts have predicted that Apple might drop the Blue Titanium option used for the iPhone 15 Pro devices and replace it with a new pink or gold color. However, the latest claim from Fixed focus digital suggests that the new color may be bronze or have a bronze-like appearance.

In a post on Weibo, the leaker said that the new color of the iPhone 16 Pro Max looks like a "bronze shade," and a titanium-like appearance can be seen in the surrounding frame. Another leaker from China claimed earlier this month that the code for the iPhone 16 Pro color is 'Rose', online 'Rose Gold', which Apple launched with the iPhone 6s in 2015. In addition to the new color option, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro are expected Max to have the same options except for blue.

According to a report released this week by Taiwanese supply chain publication DigiTimes, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are widely expected to support Wi-Fi 7. For those unaware, support for Wi-Fi 7 enable iPhones to send and receive data over the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands simultaneously. This means the phone will have lower latency and faster Wi-Fi speeds along with reliable connectivity. Compared to Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7 is said to offer 4x faster data transfer speeds. It is expected to get theoretical maximum data transfer speeds of over 40 Gbps.
