DJI is expanding their line of power stations with the new Power 1000 Mini. Although the name says "Mini", it has enough capacity to be a serious companion on a camping trip or as a backup at home in case the power fails.

Fast charging and plenty of juice

With a capacity of 1008 Wh and a power output of up to 1000 W, it can power most gear. DJI promises that you can charge a mobile phone 54 times or keep a refrigerator running for around 7 hours.

Most impressive, though, is the charging speed: The device reaches 80% power in just 58 minutes when plugged in. If you're on the go, it can be charged via your car in under three hours, and there's built-in support for solar panels, so you can draw power directly from the sun without any extra box stuff.

Backup in a split second

One of the features that makes it convenient for the home office is the UPS function. If the power goes out, the Power 1000 Mini takes over the supply in just 0.01 seconds. That's fast enough that your router or computer won't have time to go out, which is worth its weight in gold if you're working on something important.

As a little bonus, a 100 W USB-C cable is built directly into the chassis, so you always have a charging cable for your laptop or phone at hand.

Built to be used

DJI has not skimped on durability. It uses LFP battery cells, which are known to last for many years – up to 4,000 charges before capacity starts to noticeably decrease. The housing is built to withstand pressure of up to a ton, and it is sealed so it can withstand both rain and salt water spray if you take it on the boat or the beach.

Integration with your drones

If you're already in the DJI ecosystem, the Power 1000 Mini makes good sense. The SDC ports allow you to fast-charge drone batteries – for example, an Air 3 battery can go from 10% to 95% in just half an hour. It can all be monitored directly in the DJI Home app, so you can keep track of your usage.

Price and availability: The DJI Power 1000 Mini is in stores now with a suggested retail price of DKK 4,499.
