NGENUITY is HyperX's software for customizing and controlling their peripherals, including mice, keyboards and headsets. The software offers user-friendly settings to adjust lighting effects, button functions and DPI levels that can be saved directly to the device. With NGENUITY, users can easily customize their equipment to optimize performance and aesthetics according to their personal preferences.

In the "Lights" tab, you can adjust lighting effects for the mouse. It is possible to choose effects such as "Cycle", adjust the opacity, colors and speed of the lighting. One can choose different colors from a wide color scale and adjust the speed from slow to fast. The settings can be saved directly to the mouse with the "Save to Mouse" button, so that the mouse remembers them without being connected to the software.

The test – Use and comfort

We must of course have tested the mouse through. That's why I put my normal mouse aside and replaced it with the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless. It is used in a period where it is thrown through a little differently, from normal computer use and gaming.

I use a website which tests the polling rate on the mouse by running it around the website. During the test I got the result of 961 Hz on average and 1035 Hz on maximum.

The Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless has a normal size of a gamer's mouse, which also means that several different grips can be used on it. It is incredibly light, and with a weight of 70 grams, it is easy to move around.

The switches have a reasonable noise level, and it is not because the switches or the scroll wheel make noise or are deafening when used.

During use with the mouse, I found that I had to use a higher DPI than I usually do, despite the fact that I usually use a heavier mouse, as it simply had the feeling of being "slow". However, it was compensated when I set up the DPI. Which also gave a reasonable experience with the mouse. The light weight, as well as a slightly higher DPI made it have an incredibly good flow.

Price

I have found a price for the Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless from HyperX of $49.99

Conclusion

After thoroughly testing the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless, I can conclude that this mouse is a strong choice for both casual computer users and gamers. The mouse has been tested under various conditions and the results show that it delivers a solid performance.

During polling rate tests, the mouse achieved an average of 961 Hz and a maximum of 1035 Hz, which is impressive and ensures a responsive experience. The normal size of the mouse makes it versatile in terms of grip, and its weight of only 70 grams makes it easy to move around.

The switches and the scroll wheel have an acceptable noise level, which means that they are not disturbing during use. An interesting observation was that I had to increase the DPI more than usual, even though I typically use a heavier mouse. This is due to the light weight of the mouse, but after adjusting to a higher DPI, the mouse delivered an excellent and fluid experience.

All in all, the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless is a mouse that combines light weight and a simple design with impressive battery life and good sensor performance. The few drawbacks, like low acceleration and IPS, are worth considering, but overall, this mouse delivers excellent performance for most users.

I would give the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless a rating of 8 out of 10. The mouse's light weight, long battery life and solid performance make it an excellent choice for both casual users and gamers.
