SCUF Gaming, part of Corsair, has just introduced the SCUF Omega, an officially licensed pro controller for both the PlayStation 5 and the new PS5 Pro, which builds on 15 years of experience in esports gear.

Lightning-fast mechanical inputs and TMR sticks

The SCUF Omega is packed with technology designed to give gamers an edge in fast-paced games. It uses Omron mechanical switches in both triggers, D-pad, and buttons, providing the same clicky feel you'd expect from a gaming mouse.

A key technical detail is the new Endurance (TMR) thumbsticks. They feel like the standard sticks you're familiar with, but they're designed to be much more durable and resistant to wear, so you can maintain precision over time. For PC users, the controller also supports 1K polling rate for minimal lag.

Full control via mobile

Newly, almost everything can be customized via a dedicated SCUF app for iOS and Android, where you can adjust in real time:

  • Deadzone: Possibility of true 0% deadzone.
  • Response Curves: Adjust the sensitivity of both sticks and triggers.
  • Remapping: There are a total of 11 additional buttons (paddles on the back, side buttons and G-keys), all of which can be programmed to your needs.

Ergonomics and weight

SCUF has worked on the shape of the Omega to optimize control over the many buttons. To make the controller lighter and ensure your aim isn't disrupted during intense battles, the vibration modules have been removed entirely. It's a detail that many serious shooter fans will appreciate.

Tobias Brinkmann from Corsair describes the launch as the culmination of their journey so far:

"For 15 years, SCUF has been pushing the boundaries of performance... Omega is the realization of that journey and the beginning of what comes next."
