Logitech launches the Logitech G G915 X series

"When we launched the G915 LIGHTSPEED keyboard back in 2019, it was a groundbreaking and award-winning gaming keyboard that opened the door for many gamers to the benefits of flat keyboards. Since then, we've been listening closely to our G915 users and their wishes for the next generation. Today we are therefore proud to present the G915 X, which includes both the features gamers love and the improvements that have been most requested," says Arnaud Perret-Gentil, Head of PC Gaming at Logitech G.

The G915 X is equipped with a newly developed galvanic switch. The original hook-style stem switches have been replaced with POM cross-shaped stems. This new construction improves the stability of the keys and provides a better and quieter typing experience, as well as makes it easier to replace or customize the keyboard buttons.

In addition, the actuation point of the switches has been reduced from 1.5 mm to 1.3 mm, giving a faster response. The keyboard has also received PBT keys, which have been upgraded from ABS to double-molded, translucent PBT keys, which are more durable and reduce the visibility of any grease from the fingers.

To ensure a first-class typing experience, it is crucial that the quality is top notch. The thickness of the aluminum plate has been increased from 1.2 to 1.5 mm, which strengthens the product's construction and gives the final touch to the already recognized writing experience.

The G915 X LIGHTSPEED offers lightning-fast LIGHTSPEED wireless technology, Bluetooth® and USB wired connectivity and retains the original tri-mode wireless connection.

In addition, battery life has been improved compared to the original model without compromising on performance. When the backlight is off, the full-size G915 X LIGHTSPEED can deliver up to 800 hours of battery life. With full RGB lighting and LIGHTSPEED connectivity, it can handle up to 36 hours of continuous use, which is a 20 percent improvement over the previous model. The tenkeyless version can offer up to 1000 hours of battery life with the light off and 42 hours at 100 percent brightness.

In addition to the original volume roller (G key) and media buttons, the G915 X adds an extra powerful tool to achieve control and personalization. Namely KEYCONTROL, which can turn any key into a powerful macro and which gathers several commands in one keystroke. The numpad can be transformed into a full gaming command center, or combined with the G shift key on one's mouse to give all the keys on the keyboard a new command setup.

• Soft media buttons, 9 G-keys and a powerful volume roller for quick access and control.
