Razer introduces the Tartarus V2 Pro analog optical keypad

For the first time, Razer's most advanced switch assembly and true 8000 Hz HyperPolling technology are brought to a dedicated keypad, while also introducing a fully adjustable ergonomic wrist rest and a wealth of customization options.

Barrie Ooi, Head of PC Gaming Division at Razer, said in connection with the announcement:

The Tartarus V2 Pro is uncompromisingly maximalist: More inputs, finer control, and more ways to make it your own.”

Analog optical precision with Rapid Trigger

At the heart of the Razer Tartarus V2 Pro is the Razer Analog Optical Switch Gen-2 . The switch allows you to set the actuation point ( actuation range ) to your liking in a range from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm . It also features Rapid Trigger sensitivity down to 0.1 mm, which allows for extremely fast and repeated keystrokes, as the key resets the moment it is moved upwards.

Each switch is individually lubricated at the factory and rests in a cushioning layer of dense foam. The switches have a rated lifespan of 100 million keystrokes and are acoustically tuned to deliver a clean, comfortable sound during intense gaming sessions.

31 programmable controls and anti-drift TMR joystick

The Tartarus V2 Pro offers a total of 31 programmable controls , providing plenty of room to connect entire ability lines, complex macros, or genre-specific setups directly to the device.

Anti-Drift TMR Joystick: Located at the thumb rest is a full-size, anti-drift TMR joystick, taken directly from Razer's award-winning controllers. The joystick allows players to smoothly navigate circular menus or perform precise in-game movements, complemented by three dedicated buttons.

Adjustable Wrist Rest: The wrist rest is designed to conform to the hand rather than forcing the hand to conform to the hardware. It can be slid forward and backward as well as rotated left and right. This allows the user to find their natural angle, keeping the wrist straight and preventing fatigue over long periods of use.

8000 Hz HyperPolling and hardware adjustment without software

In terms of performance, the device features true 8000 Hz HyperPolling , which is eight times faster than the industry standard. Keypadded is supported by Razer's Advanced Input Control suite, which includes features like Razer Snap Tap , Razer Snap Flex , and Dynamic Keystroke for more precise execution under pressure.

Players can configure up to 24 keymaps across 3 built-in profiles via Razer Synapse software. Should you need to adjust the actuation point or Rapid Trigger during a tournament, this can be done directly on the device itself via a built-in LED indicator without opening any software. The device is completed by durable, textured doubleshot PBT keycaps
