The test

We've now finished going around the screen, and it's time for the actual test. So of course it's up on the desktop and is used as my daily screen at the computer.

Together with AMD FreeSync™ Premium, screen tearing and stuttering are eliminated, providing a more comfortable gaming experience.

To protect the OLED panel from burn-in, the screen is equipped with a Pixel Clean function that is automatically activated to maintain image quality over time. In addition, Screen Shift technology is used, which slightly adjusts pixels to distribute the load evenly on the screen.

The ASRock PGO32UFS differs from many competitors by including dedicated ports for external Wi-Fi antennas. This makes it possible to optimize the wireless signal directly through the screen, which can be an advantage for gaming and streaming without cable clutter. I also experienced during the test that I achieved faster speeds when using the screen's Wi-Fi antennas, rather than the external ones that come with the motherboard. However, I would have liked the connection to be to the screen itself, and not the tower, which makes it a bit more difficult if you want to use a different type of monitor holder. Personally, I have mounted it to the wall, which would make it difficult to use this solution in everyday life if I also wanted to use the screen/tower's option for Wi-Fi antenna connection.

Conclusion

The ASRock PGO32UFS is an impressive gaming monitor that delivers one of the best visual experiences on the market thanks to its 32" OLED panel. The combination of infinite contrast, true blacks, and a high refresh rate of 240 Hz makes it ideal for both gaming and media consumption. The OLED technology not only ensures exceptional color reproduction, but also eliminates backlight bleeding, resulting in more accurate and detailed image quality, especially in dark scenes.

HDR True Black 400 further enhances the experience by providing deeper black levels and more dynamic brightness, making the display particularly suitable for gaming and movies. At the same time, an extremely low response time of 0.03ms ensures that there is no ghosting or motion blur, making it one of the fastest displays on the market. FreeSync Premium Pro also supports a smooth and fluid gaming experience without screen tearing or stuttering.

In Denmark, however, we can expect a higher price, making it a premium monitor that is not for everyone. The price level is one of the few drawbacks of the monitor, but with the technology and performance it offers, it is an expected cost.

All in all, the ASRock PGO32UFS is a monitor that is primarily aimed at enthusiasts and hardcore gamers who want the best possible image quality and performance. The OLED panel, 240 Hz refresh rate and lightning-fast response time make it an obvious choice for serious gamers, but the price may be a barrier for many. Despite this, it is difficult to find a direct competitor that offers a similar combination of technology and features.
